Hans looked like a red striped zebra..the way I had scratched his back and chest.. anyway.. who else could I cling to at first...

way I was splashing about with my paws I looked like a real paddle-boat
.. but soon I was gliding smoothly through the water ....
I was even retrieving.....
alright.. a stick.. nevertheless

I shouldn't....
but after all..... he didn't want me to hold on to him anymore
I had to cling to a stick....
or a warm corner on Marijkes lap............
I did my utmost.................
we swam for hours on end during our holidays....... and afterwards you feel that you really deserve to relax in an easy armchair
